2013 Golden Globes Red Carpet Fashion – Lena Dunham Aims at Glam but Kinda Misses

'Girls' writer sand star Lena Dunham tried really hard to get her glam on by wearing an off-the-shoulder, satiny and chocolatey plum Zac Posen gown at the 2013 Golden Globe Awards. How did she do?

Well, she certainly stepped up her game, after that dud she wore to the 2012 Emmys. She went with a hip, hot designer and while she doesn't exude glam in her TV show or real life, she chose a pretty, dark color (as did Taylor Swift) and the cut and details on the front of the gown were certainly edgy and different.

With her pixie cut and tattoos, her "sassy, square peg in a round hole" personality was able to manifest itself.

Dunham isn't known for her glamorous style, and maybe there's a good reason for that. But hey, she tried.
