9 Year Old Maine Boy Who Wished For Christmas Cards Loses Cancer Battle

The nine-year-old Maine boy whose last wish was for early Christmas cards has lost his battle with cancer.

After hearing his neuroblastoma was incurable and he only had weeks to live, Jacob Thompson asked for Christmas cards for an early Christmas. His wish went viral, and he received tens of thousands of cards from all over the world in response.

Jacob's family thanked everyone who sent him cards in a post on Facebook.
