92 Moose Hometown Hero – Nancy Conley of St. Andrew’s Hospital, Boothbay Harbor

Nancy Conley has been working for St. Andrews Hospital for over 30 years. Most of that time she was a hard-working LPN (as well as working as an EMS for the local ambulance service and being a wonderful single Mom). As the years wore on, her back became to painful to continue the heavy lifting of patients. While she remained on as a per diem nurse, her new role was as Unit Secretary. St. Andrews Hospital is closing its doors as of Oct. 1. Nancy chose to "go down with the ship". Once the doors close, she will officially retire (although she's contemplating per diem work) at the young age of 71! She is not only a home town hero, she is MY hero!
