A Report of NY Prison Escapees in South Paris

There is a report that one or both of the two escaped inmates from the maximum in upstate New York prison may be in Western Maine.

David Sweat, 35, and Richard Matt, 49 both serving lengthy sentences for murder escaped from Clinton Correctional Facility in New York a few days ago and are on the loose. The manhunt continues.

Police are looking into a report that at least one of the two men were seen at the Irving/Circle K in South Paris. A customer said he thought he saw one of the two escapees earlier today.

Police are looking into this tip. There is no hard evidence to back up the claim as of right now. All the same, worthy of mention.
