Earlier today we caught our first look at 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' star Cobie Smulders returning to Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." as Maria Hill, though in the meantime, Coulson and his team will still have Patton Oswalt's Eric Koenig, Amy Acker's mysterious cellist, and Marvel villain Blackout to go through. Check our our first look at next week's "The Only Light in the Darkness," as Patton puts the team to the test to roust Hydra from the ranks!

Via Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' Facebook page, our first look at next week's all-new episode sees Agent Koenig preparing to subject Coulson and his team to a lie detector test that Nick Fury himself designed to best even the likes of the Black Widow. Something tells us Ward's cover will be blown before long, and all of that before Coulson has to save his beloved cellist Audrey from escaped S.H.I.E.L.D. prisoner Marcus Daniels.

Meanwhile, here's what ABC had to say of next week's "The Only Light in the Darkness"

"The Only Light In The Darkness" - With their world turned upside down, Coulson races to save the life of his one true love as the mystery of "The Cellist," which began in Marvel's The Avengers, is finally revealed.

Guest starring are Bill Paxton as Agent John Garrett, Patrick Brennan as Marcus Daniels, Amy Acker as Audrey, B.J. Britt as Agent Antoine Triplett, and Patton Oswalt as Agent Koenig.

Only four episodes remain in the inaugural (and currently only) season of Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,' and the gettin's been good of late, but what do you think? Will the cellist slow down momentum provided by 'Cap' 2's major fallout? Will Ward expose his Hydra (heh) allegiance to the team? And hey, where's Deathlok in all this? Check out the first sneak peek from "The Only Light in the Darkness" below, and give us your 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' endgame wishlist in the comments!
