Singer-songwriter Alexz Johnson spent the summer touring behind her latest release, 'Skipping Stone.' Now, fans can go behind the scenes of her life on the road with the PopCrush premiere of the trailer for her tour documentary, which features concert footage and interviews with the rising star.

In the film, the 26-year-old Canadian explains that she released her most recent EP and funded her tour by raising $67,000 on Kickstarter. "Now, I'm recording my new record, and I couldn't do it without my fans," she says. She adds that her grass-roots approach led to large crowds across the U.S. and Canada: "The greatest thing about the tour was I had no idea I would fill these venues as much as I did. I was very prepared to play for five kids, ten kids a night, and it was amazing that we basically sold out a lot of the venues."

In addition to concert footage that shows off Johnson's strong voice, the trailer features scenes from meet and greets and clips from inside the touring van that she shared with her band. If you're not yet familiar with Johnson's music, check out this live performance of 'Skipping Stone' that PopCrush premiered earlier this year.

The Skipping Stone tour documentary will debut Nov. 1 on Stageit.com. The full video is available now for pre-order, along with photo books and signed copies of her new live album. Fans can see and hear more about the singer on her official website and her YouTube page.
