Alicia Keys and Beyonce have a lot more in common than just being R&B queens, they are proud mothers of their kids -- 2-year-old Egypt and 9-month-old Blue Ivy, respectively. The piano diva revealed to Capital FM that her and Bey often share baby stories together.

"We do. We have like our little play dates," she quips. "But no, we're friends and it's amazing to be able to have children at the same time -- it's actually really cool."

The R&B moms have one more thing else in common -- they are married to influential hip-hoppers. "We talk a lot, and what's important has shifted, you know?" Keys tells Capital FM. In the end, the 'Girl on Fire' songbird loves being a mom. "It's amazing. It's unbelievable," says Keys. "I just feel better in every possible way I can be and a joy I can't even explain."

As we previously reported, Beyonce will join Keys at her annual Black Ball fundraiser in New York on Nov. 1. The star-studded affair will honor talk-show queen Oprah Winfrey. The Black Ball event is raising funds for Keys’ Keep a Child Alive foundation, which provides assistance to children and families living with HIV/AIDS in Africa and India.
