American Horror Story has become its own little, scary world. In its seven seasons there have been numerous nods to previous characters and plot lines (not to mention the same actors returning season after season), but there's never been a crossover season...until now.

On Thursday (June 14), show creator Ryan Murphy made AHS fans' day (or maybe even week) by confirming via Twitter that its eighth season will be a Murder House/Coven crossover.

"The Coven/Murder House AHS crossover season won't be happening next year...because it's happening THIS YEAR," he tweeted. "AHS #8 WITCHES RULE THIS SEPTEMBER"

Though it is relatively unclear exactly what the premise of the upcoming season will be, it is clear that there will be WITCHES. Back in April, Murphy announced Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Billy Eichner, Cheyenne Jackson, Adina Porter, and Leslie Grossman, who all appeared in American Horror Story: Cult, would return for season eight. He also explained that the story would take place 18 months in the future. We're not sure if this is still the case, but we'll find out in September!
