Saturday is the annual Cancer Survivors Day at the Harold Alfond Center for Cancer Care in Augusta. It's a fun free family event. A day of inspiration, celebration, education and networking for cancer survivors, their families and friends and the whole community. This year's Cancer Survivors Day features a special message from Beth Brownlee and Ruth Nichols from 'Trust Your Journey' and a program called 'Soaring with Hope.' The day also features free entertainment and information as well as great food and networking. Free bus ride tours around the new regional hospital are also included. Parking is at the Commerce Center off Civic Center Drive, with free trolley and bus service to the cancer center starting at noon.
