Annual 'Tanks-Giving' Food Drive Needs Your Help!

TANKS-GIVING is Central Maine’s biggest food drive. Like six tons of food last year. And for years this food drive has been raising tons of non-perishables and thousands of dollars helping the food banks of central Maine. But this year, Tanks-giving REALLY needs your help.

All the non-perishables go the food bank for the Capital Area Salvation Army and donations of money help to benefit 19 area food banks. Those food banks include Bread Of Life, Wilton, Waterville, China Village, Augusta, Madison, Skowhegan, Smithfield, Monmouth, Oakland, Norridgewock, Hallowell, Winslow, Vassalboro, Fairfield, Palmyra, Farmington, Waterville, Windsor. Bottom line is…donations help all those food banks.

Goggin’s IGA from 9-4 and George’s Banana Stand in Skowhegan 8-4

Wednesday:
Shaw’s in Augusta 8-4 and Shaw’s in Waterville from 9-4

Thursday:
Walmart in Augusta and Walmart in Farmington, 9-4.
