Tonight is the season premiere of 'The Bachelor' and this time the man of the women's desire for marriage is Juan Pablo. Yes I'm watching it (except while writing this) because Lynn likes the show and that's fine because she puts up with my Red Sox games for six months.

Where it's an elimination style reality show, why not prep everyone for what marriage really is? Make the show more about compatibility and connections? Don't get me wrong bikinis on the beach are sweet on the eyes but hoodies and jeans are sexy too in their own environment.

Another thing, I can't get passed how similar all of the girls look. Yes they are different in subtle ways but I'd like to see and I'm thinking Juan Pablo or whoever is 'The Bachelor' would like to see as well is how these bacholorettes do their own hair, dress, deal with real life problems and situations.

I know ABC wants to make the show a sexy fantasy for viewers but the series is tired and in my opinion needs a slap of reality.

I'm done, the commercials are now over and now back to the show.
