Anthony Geary, Better Known as Luke Spencer, Leaving ‘General Hospital’

After nearly four decades, actor Anthony Geary will end his role as Luke Spencer on the ABC soap opera "General Hospital." ABC says Spencer's last appearance will be July 27 and that his character will be written out of the series. But...are characters on soaps ever REALLY gone? Hummmm.....

Anyway, back in the day with the BIG wedding...more than 30 million people tuned in to watch Luke marry Laura, considered a storybook event. (AP)
