Are You Breaking The Law When You Shovel?

According to WCSH 6, police are warning people about breaking they law when they shovel or snowblow.

They're reminding people it is illegal to put your snow into the street.

According to a 1993 law, "A person may not place and allow to remain on a public way snow or slush that has not accumulated there naturally."

There is  $205 fine for violating the statute.
