Are You Getting A Flu Shot?

I was just reading that the first cases of the flu in Maine are getting reported. Whereever you look, pharmacies, grocery stores, department stores and alike are offering flu shots. Have you gotten one or are you planning on it?

There is controversy or at the very least a debate on the subject. This is the second year in a row for me. Last year when I got one I did get slight side effects. I felt kind of logy and under the weather a bit for a few days immediately after the shot. No issues thereafter and more importantly no flu. This year I had no side effects except a minor ache at the injection site and that went away in a day or two. It’s a personal choice and one that no one should coerce you into or out of. Flu shots are like fluoride in the way people feel passion one way or the other.
