Austin Mahone + Ariana Grande to Perform at the 2013 MTV VMAs Pre-Show

As the performance lineup for the main event gets more and more star-studded, the pre-show for the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards has got to be something pretty special, too. So bring on Austin Mahone and Ariana Grande!

In news announced today (Aug. 16), the pop cuties will rock the pre-show for the VMAs, being held Aug. 25 in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Ariana is scheduled to perform two new songs -- 'The Way' and 'Baby I' -- while Austin is expected to sing his single 'What About Love.' Austin is also nominated for his first-ever Moonman, for Artist To Watch.

Both artists have big things in store over the coming weeks, with Ariana's album 'Yours Truly' dropping Sept. 3 and Austin launching his first-ever headlining tour Oct. 17. Check out the dates for Austin's jaunt here.

As a reminder, the VMAs main show will feature performers including Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Robin Thicke, Miley Cyrus and Kanye West.

The VMAs pre-show airs Aug. 25 at 8PM ET, with the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards following at 9PM ET.
