The Kennebec County Sheriff’s Office has released security footage of the robbery at the Circle K convenience store on Main Ave., Farmingdale Sunday night, Jan. 27th.
The woman entered the store just before 7:30pm and after first blending in with other customers, confronted the cashier with a pistol. She left with an undisclosed amount of money and headed north on foot.
Gas prices in Maine jumped nearly three cents a gallon this week. MaineGasPrices.com reported that the average retail cost of a gallon of gas in Maine rose to $3.56. That's based on a survey of over 1,200 gas stations throughout the state.
Members from the 126th Aviation Medevac Unit of the Maine Army National Guard will be returning to Maine this afternoon after a year-long deployment to Kuwait. The 126th landed at Fort Hood in Texas on Wednesday and will be back in Bangor this afternoon.
