April 5, 2013 Maybe you were affected, I know we were at work. Time Warner Internet was down in the Augusta area for a large chunk of the day. Some lost phone service as well but all was returned to normal around 3pm. The reason for the outage was a faulty router.
April 5, 2013 About six months ago I had lab work done and for the most part, all was OK, but my cholesterol was a bit elevated. So my blood was redrawn last week via my doctor’s encouragement.
Everything came back all right for the most part cholesterol was high again, this time at 220. I guess your choles

I was going through CNN's website trying to come up with something to write about and an article inspired this post. Facebook feed pet peeves. Things that come up in your feed that aren't serious enough to unfriend or hide someone but just make you shake your head or just irk you.
April 3, 2013 Here is something I don't understand. Why do gas prices fluctuate so much from town to town or street to street or even block to block? From what I saw yesterday at about 12:30 p.m., the Gulf station is in line now charging $3.68 a gallon, but yesterday that Gulf station on Minot Ave. had their regular unleaded on the sign for $3.85. While just a block or two down the road, the Circle K and Big Apple were tied in price at $3.68.

April 2, 2013 Spring may be finally here? I say may be because I saw flurries out the window earlier today. Have you fired up the grill for the first time yet? We did yesterday. Lynn made steak, sprinkled with a bit of seasoning and today, it was pork chops on the grill before work. So at our house so far, spring is forging ahead.
April 1, 2013 Red Sox are undefeated! Okay, it's been only one game but it's still awesome to see a convincing win out of the gate. As I try to do every opening day before the Red Sox take the field, watch 'Fever Pitch' with Jimmy Fallon and Drew Barrymore. It truly is a great movie. Even if you’re not a Red Sox fan, you get a lot out of it.
