March 15, 2013 How about a bill that would bring the speed limit on I 295 from 65 mph to 75 mph? Yes, that's correct. The interstate that runs from just south of the Maine Mall to Gardiner may get raised 10 miles per hour.
March 14, 2013 This evening at Edward Little High School it was the Auburn School Music Department's 'All-City Band Concert.' Both of my boys were a part of it. Justin is a first year saxophone player and Dylan plays trumpet and is in the Auburn Middle School (AMS) Band.
March 14, 2013 Maine legislators are discussing bumping the minimum wage up from $7.50 an hour to $8.50 an hour. If the bill passes, the dollar increase or raise would go in effect on October 1, 2013 and would adjust starting in October 2014 for inflation and other living increases.

March 12, 2013 Are you watching the World Baseball Classic? Yes I know, it’s only the third installment and it is referred to as a “classic”, I get that but it’s still baseball that means something. The U.S. won two games out three in the first round for the right to move on to the second round. That second round for the U.S. starts tonight as the U.S. takes on Puerto Rico. I don’t quite understand the tournament but it seems pretty much like a double elimination tournament at least until this point. Isn't Puerto Rico part of the U.S. but I digress?
March 12, 2013 Today, March 12, makes five months since quitting smoking. Things for the most part have been getting easier. Really the only trigger left is the car. I still want one when I drive, especially when I’m drinking a coffee.
March 11, 2013 So, have you ever bought anything on QVC, HSN or some other shopping channel? Last night was my first time ever and probably only time. For months now we've wanted, OK, I've wanted a Keurig coffee maker and to this point I've (meaning we've) never been able to stomach the idea of buying the K-Cup coffee. It works out to like 50 cents a cup when you divide it down.
