March 5, 2013 Sadly I have yet to win with Tim Horton's Roll up the Rim contest this year. If I do and turn in my "cup peeling" I hope to get this Tim Horton's employee or someone like her. She's awesome. This video will remind you that there is still really good customer service out there.

March 5, 2013 I know it's my choice as to who I see as my Doctor but today I left my Doctor who I've had for the past 15 years. Why you ask? Well, you see when I moved to Portland back in 1998 I went looking for a Doctor and my Doctor at Martin's Point was accepting new patients. Fast forward to now, here's the thing, I moved from Portland to Auburn about 14 years ago.
March 4, 2013 It’s Maine Restaurant week. A week where we try new places or go to a place we love that’s tried and true. Locally owned and operated eateries around the state have discounted meals and incentives to come in and eat.
March 4, 2013 OK, maybe I chuckled when I read this, but for whoever is responsible I’m sure there will be punishment of some kind if they’re caught. There was no school today in Lisbon because someone or some people let the air out of the tires on the school buses. There were 23 flattened tires on the 15 school buses.
March 3, 2013 As mentioned in a previous post, we acquired Maine Red Claws tickets for today's game at a discount and we went. After being cooped up for two days I needed something so to Portland we drove and went. It was just Lynn, myself and the two boys. Vikki stayed with her Aunt and Lynn's Mom.
March 2, 2013 Now that I'm awake enough and well enough it's time to write a post. By the looks of things, it was a busy Friday at the Moose behind the scenes. Even though I was quite sick and still slightly sick, I feel guilty for staying home Friday and I truly thank Mac, Andy and the others who filled in for me both on the air and off the air.
February 28, 2013 I cannot believe I’m writing about Honey Boo Boo. Anyway, she along with Mama June are in hot water because they're helping a friend sell Girl Scout cookies. Girl Scouts of The USA are unhappy about this saying it’s unfair to other girl scouts trying to sell their cookies.
February 28, 2013 It’s the last day of February. Tomorrow we flip the calendar, a new month. This being March it looks like it will roll in as a tamer lion that in years past. The weather looks dreary over the next few days, but not too harsh. Tomorrow on March 1, DirecTV subscribers were going to lose WGME, Channel 13. Today there is good news, DirecTV and WGME along with the other Sinclair broadcast stations worked out an extension until other parts of a deal are hammered out.
February 27, 2013 It’s that time of year, the time when Tiger Cubs roll through the Moose studios on tours. One of the badges they need to move up is a communication badge. The kids need to tour a radio station, TV station or a newspaper. Today we had Pack 647 from Hallowell come through and see how it works.
