Wow, what a crazy Game 7 between the Bruins and Maple Leafs, fitting for a crazy series in general. Going into Monday night's game, I was ready to accept a loss after being up 3 games to 1, but thought it would be close, and in a twisted way it was. The first two periods were good, honest hard-hitting hockey.
After tonight, will I be spending the rest of the NHL playoffs cheering on the Red Sox? Or will the Bruins move on to the next round? Not to jinx them, but I think the Bruins will beat Toronto tonight. The game is at TD Garden and I think the Bruins remember the implosion the Flyers took advantage of a few years back in the 2009 playoffs.
For the past couple of weeks, Vikki, our almost two-year-old daughter has been stuffy and over the weekend, she had a mild fever at 99.5. With her history of ear infections, we thought we’d bring her in to the doctor just in case it was an infection or sinusitis.
Hope all moms and moms-to-be had a great Mother's day. Did you take Mom out to brunch? Dinner? I cooked Lynn, my wife and mother of my three wonderful children breakfast. Maybe better said, warmed up breakfast. I made cinnamon rolls from a tube, heat and serve sausage and brewed her a flavored coffee. She liked it!
American Idol is winding down for 2013. Season 13 in the ratings has been slightly lower than previous years but still good for TV ratings. If it’s back for season 14, Randy Jackson won’t be part of it. If I were a betting man, I’d say Mariah Carey will be out too. Why? Because of the stunt or leaked info about wanting Jennifer Lopez back over Mariah earlier this season.

Normally my wonderful and talented wife cooks a meal before I go to work and when I get home, I either eat the leftovers if there are any or snack on or make something like Kraft Dinner or ramen noodles. Today I had to be at work earlier than normal for a meeting and to do some behind the scenes stuff. So I didn’t get my home-cooking this lunchtime.
