Grampy James Sings About How He Came to Be at The Home in Sidney [Audio]

Grampy James hasn't always lived in Sidney. If you've been listening to him since he joined me on 92 Moose some years ago, you'll always remember him living at The Home. Well, now, he tells you of his hometown and how dog food prompted us to move him...

Easy Does It…We Don’t Say That to Hear Ourselves Talk. Okay, Maybe I Do. But, Seriously!

I knew the driving was going to be bad when I slid down the hill on the unimproved road I live on. When I got to the main drag, it wasn't much improvement. In fact, it was worse because I KNEW my road was going to be bad. The sand on the main road lulled me into a false sense of security. Jon James Won’t Leave His House in the Cold Again…He Hopes! [Video]

Too cold for man or beast! That's how I describe this kind of weather. "Cold enough for you?" a gas station attendant asked me? I just looked away and rolled up the window. If he hadn't asked me that, I would have invited him to sit in the passenger seat until the pump clicked off.

Dressing for Frigid Weather…Layer to Keep Your Core Temp Up [Video]

If your core body temperature gets too low, you will freeze to death! Well, good morning! Actually, when the temps dip as low as they are, you really need to dress as though you were going to be stuck outside for awhile because, if that warm car suddenly dies on a deserted road, it won't take long to reach outside temps. This video takes layering to an extreme but safe level. It also explains how NOT layering can kill you :-)
