For over 20 years, I have been waking up central Maine as part of the Moose Morning Show, weekdays from 5am-9am. You can also hear me as part of the "Best of the Moose Morning Show" Saturdays, 6am-10am. I solo on Saturdays, 10am-2pm, unless I'm out meeting you at one of our many live local broadcasts.

Update!! Possible Natural Gas Leak Forces Evacuation on Augusta’s East Side

"It (rushing air) sounded like a jet engine," according to Augusta Fire Department Battalion Chief Daniel Guimond. According to the pipeline's owner, Summit Natural Gas, there was clearly a leak in the pipes that was discovered as a result of pressure tests the company was running. No gas was in the lines.

I saw a guy from Public Works stringing lights on the tree in the center of the Cony Circle of Death today and I did what any other news reporter would have done.
