December 31, 2012 I knew this was a serious operation when I pulled into the lot and saw a Pisten Bully trail groomer in front of the lodge and lights on the hill. Kevin Gower and Dan Ouellette have been clearing land for and preparing the attraction known as G.O. Tubing. It has taken them a couple of years to get ready for this past weekend. Looks like they did it right.

December 25, 2012 Gary Hammond, the co-owner of Hammond Tractor in Fairfield, who is a gun owner and hunter, offered people the opportunity to bring in guns they wanted destroyed in the wake of the Newtown Connecticut shooting. He said he would use tools at the business to dismantle the guns. Criticism has caused him to change his mind.
