WCSH channel 6 popular broadcaster Bruce Glasier has passed away. Bruce's style doing the sports report was a mixture of dry humor, information and a humbleness. Bruce was a cornerstone with WCSH for 35 years, doing the sportscast from 1977 until he retired in 2012.
The group in favor of a referendum on this November's ballot to ban baiting, trapping and using dogs to hunt bears in Maine has filed a lawsuit against the state Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife alleging the agency is illegally using public money to oppose the referendum.
