It’s ‘Reciprocal Snowmobile Weekend’ in Northern New England

If you have snowmobiles and they are registered in Maine, New Hampshire or Vermont you can go exploring this weekend, January 25 to 28, 2013!  ‘Reciprocal Snowmobile Weekend’ is on now until Sunday and allows all legally registered Maine snowmobiles to be operated in New Hampshire and Vermont without being registered in those states.

One of my favorite episodes of 'The West Wing' was about ‘Big Block of Cheese Day.’ The whole point of the episode was that groups that might not normally make it into the White House had a chance to meet with someone in the administration.  As much of the staff did not want to do it, in the end, everyone learned something new about the world. Winter Words of Wisdom from Renee

Ugh. Winter in Maine is not my favorite time of the year. I am not a big fan of the cold or the snow. Why do I live here?
