Federal Reserve Chair says People Need to Save More…What a Great Idea!

Please note my sarcasm in my headline.  Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen says the ‘Great Recession’ showed that a large number of American families are "extraordinarily vulnerable" to financial setbacks because they have few assets to fall back on. Good Eatin’ in Augusta at the ‘Cross Cafe’ at Cross Office Building @ State House Complex

I was flipping through the September 2014 Dispatch Magazine and noticed an interesting review on some restaurants who have political connections.  Among the choices was 'The Cross Cafe' in the lower level Cross Office Building at the State House Complex in Augusta. The food there is great! One reviewer was very pleased, the other give it a 3 out of 5, but said they would try it again when in the area. It is not a place you might think for weekday breakfast or lunch, but try it, I think you will like it too.

‘Can We Talk?’ Joan River Memorial Was a Star Studded Event

Joan Rivers’s directions for her own funeral service were printed in the program the ushers handed out on Sunday (Sept 7, 2014) at Temple Emanu-El on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. “I want my funeral to be a big showbiz affair with lights, cameras, action,” the paragraph-long directive said. “I want paparazzi and I want publicists making a scene! I want it to be Hollywood all the way. I don’t want some rabbi rambling on.”

More and more of us are wearing yoga pants and leggings instead of traditional denim. Sales of those other items have climbed 7% to $33.6 billion.
