‘Back-to-School Block Party’ a Huge Hit… Until the Thundershowers Hit!

Thanks for joining us Saturday (Aug. 6) at the Marketplace at Augusta for the 92 Moose 'Back-to-School Block Party!'

We had an awesome time, until the thunder and heavy showers hit. One of the highlights was the awesome Nikki Hunt doing Hula Hoop demos and instructions. Also a huge thanks to United Martial Academies for their wonderful demonstrations.

We had Maine Science of Maine entertaining kids of all ages, Elsa and Anna and super hero characters, our free anti-bullying book covers, free tote bags for everybody, petting zoo and so much more.

Unfortunately, just as Matt Loosigian was taking the stage, the thunder hit!

Hopefully, next year we can have a thunder free event! By the way, you can stop by our station, during regular business hours, and pick up as many free anti-bullying book covers that you need!
