Baseball America says Portland has been voted the "Best Road City" in baseball's minor leagues.

The magazine named Portland, home of Portland Sea Dogs, as the best road destination as part of its "Best of the Minors" awards. The Sea Dogs are a minor league affiliate of the Boston Red Sox.

Sea Dogs executive vice president and general manager Geoff Iacuessa says opposing teams enjoy coming to Portland because of its restaurants, microbreweries and large Hadlock Field crowds.

New Orleans, Las Vegas, Nashville and others also received votes.
