Lewiston/Bangor Beauty School That Operated More Than Half a Century, Closes Doors

Mr. Bernard’s School of Hair Fashion closed their doors yesterday (Jan. 5) in Lewiston and Bangor. The school was first established in 1960.

According to Mr. Bernard's School of Hair Fashion facebook page:

It is with great regret that we are announcing that Mr. Bernard's School is closed effective immediately. Students are being contacted individually, and our staff will be working with them during this difficult transition. An attempt was made at calling every single student today. We worked really hard to try to get in touch with everyone but it was not always possible.

No word on what happens next. The school closed just one day before classes were scheduled to resume after two-week holiday break.
