Justin Bieber Pisses Off Hockey Fans, Infuriates Anthony Bourdain + Apologizes to Bill Clinton

After getting a whole lot of bad press for peeing in a soap bucket and degrading the lovable Bill Clinton, Justin Bieber is emerging with his tail between his legs.

And his hand on the Stanley Cup. Wait, what?

For the uninitiated, in the same video in which he urinated into a restaurant’s mop bucket, after spraying cleaning fluid on a photo of this writer’s favorite former P.O.T.U.S. ever, Bieber yelled, “F— Bill Clinton!”

Once the video came out, Bieber decided he was sorry (likely for getting caught more than anything else). E! Online reports that Bieber reached out to Clinton to apologize, and Clinton accepted.

Clinton reportedly told the troubled Canadian star, “If that is the worst thing you have ever done, all is well.” Clinton also urged Bieber to focus on the positive he can do for the world — instead of, you know, the peeing in buckets and speeding in residential neighborhoods for which he’s grown notorious.

A humbled Bieber tweeted about the conversation:

Speaking of the restaurant peeing incident, someone else not happy with Bieber? Anthony Bourdain, who took to Twitter to denounce his actions.

Meanwhile, once he was forgiven by the most recently impeached U.S. President, Bieber was condemned by hockey fans everywhere for a few faux pas in the Chicago Blackhawks locker room.

Bieber not only touched the Stanley Cup — a huge no-no in the hockey world, which as a Canadian and a hockey fan, he should know — but he also stepped on the Blackhawks logo and interrupted (albeit inadvertently) some meetings:

Needless to say, hockey fans were not pleased:

Still, the Blackhawks themselves weren’t too mad at Biebs. The team told E! News in a statement:

“As frequently happens with guests into our room, Justin inadvertantly stepped on the team logo on the floor but moved off quickly once immediately reminded. He was apologetic and understanding of the tradition but continued to take photos with the Cup and some young fans. He was extremely genuine and kind with his time. We appreciate his enthusiasm towards hockey and wish him well with the remainder of his tour.”

It’s worth noting that one of the Blackhawks themselves, Peter Hassen, took a photo of Bieber touching their trophy — so the outrage seems a bit outsized for those not even involved.

Now if you’ll excuse us, we’re going to hang our heads in shame for actually defending Justin Bieber.
