The Maine Bureau of Motor Vehicles branch offices will have some training time. The Maine BMV employees will have some training in “communication enrichment, focusing on topics of improving self-awareness, such as generational differences, inherent biases and emotional intelligence.”

We all could benefit from that!

There will a few days this will be happening so if you need to renew your license or any other business with the BMV…here are the dates:

-Monday, April 30: All Southern District branches will be closed for training. This includes: Portland, Scarborough, Kennebunk and Springvale.

-Tuesday, May 1: All Central District branches will be closed for training. This includes: Augusta, Topsham, Lewiston and Rumford.

-Monday, May 21: All Northern District branches will be closed for training. This includes: Bangor, Ellsworth, Calais, Rockland and Caribou.

The BMV Main Office at 101 Hospital St. in Augusta staff will do the training on May 2 and 8, BUT will remain open and continue to provide services on those days.  Remember, of course, the State of Maine has a LOT of services available on line at www.maine.gov/sos/bmv.
