While a number of cable networks across the board have set their sights on developing more original programming, Bravo is dead set on the dark. Previously we'd heard that the network had its eye on developing a TV sequel series to the classic 'Heathers,' but now it seems the talk has turned to another classic, similarly morbid film. Both Bravo and director Robert Zemeckis have turned their heads toward breathing life into 'Death Becomes Her,' but will it leave us feeling holed?

They may say that Hollywood never has any new ideas, but at least this one was already dead. Variety reports that Bravo has begun development on a 'Death Becomes Her' TV series, to be executive produced by the 1992 film's director Robert Zemeckis.

For those unfamiliar with the the film, 'Death Becomes Her' stared Bruce Willis, along with Meryl Streep and Goldie Hawn as  two rival women who both attain eternal youth. Imagery of the film became famous for its comical maiming of the two actresses, given their inability to die.

Jack Rapke and Jackie Levine will produce along with Zemeckis, who himself recently made a deal to begin developing more original TV. No writer has yet been selected for the effort. Would you be interested to see 'Death Becomes Her' revived as a TV series?
