Breaking The Ice to get to Open Water Fishing!

It was finally the day we had been waiting for. My buddy Joey Bearce and I were gonna be heading out open water fishing for the first time in 2017.

If you know anything about me, you know fishing is one of my most favorite hobbies! We have been paying very close attention lately to the ice-out conditions in our area and knew that this Saturday we could definitely make it happen. We did, however, have to crunch through a little left-over ice to get to our 'sweet spot'. Take a look! And no, we didn't sink!
