Brownville, Maine Mother of 13, Charged With Hiring Hit-Man to Kill Husband

Wendy Farley, 46, of Brownville, was arrested Tuesday, September 18 and charged with criminal solicitation for murder. She was charged with trying to hire a hit man to kill her husband and father of her 13 children. Police received a tip last week from a man who said Farley had contacted him and offered him money to murder her husband. The Brownville and Milo police departments joined forces and set up a wiretap operation. They recorded the conversations between the ‘hit man’ and the suspect. That led to here arrest at her Russell Road home. Farley and her husband have been married for over three decades.
