Bruno Mars sometimes makes out to his own music, and he's man enough to admit it. The crooner made the confession today during a radio interview with Ryan Seacrest to promote his new single, 'Locked Out of Heaven.'

When Seacrest asked Mars if he ever made out to his own songs, Mars replied, "All the time... I say, 'Hold on, baby, let me listen to this real quick.'" Seacrest explained to his skeptical co-host, "Men need to be thanking Bruno Mars for the things that can happen in three minutes and 33 seconds."

Making out to one's own music might sound strange, but we won't judge Bruno until we find out just which songs he makes out to. If he shares a tender moment with a special someone while 'Just the Way You Are' or 'It Will Rain' plays in the background, that could be kind of sweet. If he puckers up during 'The Lazy Song,' that would just be weird.

Mars told Seacrest that the creation of 'Locked Out of Heaven' actually began a year ago at an NBA All-Star event when he jammed with Lenny Kravitz and came up with the line, "You make me feel like I’ve been locked out of heaven too long."

Mars added, "Once we started getting in the studio to work on this album I kind of brought it back. This song has been through so many changes, we had so many different versions of it, but using that title 'Locked Out of Heaven.' Then we finally got this version. I was like, ‘Yeah, this is it.’”

The song will appear on the singer's sophomore album 'Unorthodox Jukebox,' which drops on Dec. 11 to follow-up his platinum 2010 effort 'Doo-Wops & Hooligans.'
