This is a GREAT story and it's available on Netflix. The documentary is called, Burt's Buzz. It's about the co-founder of Burt's Bees, a company which began in Maine by a man with bees who sold honey and a woman, Roxanne Quimby, who had a vision.

This man is amazingly simple and is happy with his meager existence in northern Maine. He's a vegetarian who lives off the land but still occasionally travels to make appearances representing the company he was once a part of. Both he and Quimby have sold off their shares.

Even though Burt lives on land signed over to him by Quimby, the two don't speak or even see each other. You'll get a sense as to why once you see the documentary.

As a point of reference, Roxanne Quimby is the woman who owns a large chunk of land around Millinocket (119, 000 acres in 2012, when she was listed as one of the top one hundred landowners in the country...at number 86). She has offered up 70, 000 acres to be used as a national park and 30, 000 to the state, to be used for logging, hunting, snowmobiling and so forth. The caveat is, there has to be a national park. This debate is hotter than ever now, with both Millinocket area paper mills closed.

Check out the trailer and be sure to watch this insightful and delightful presentation!
