According to WMTW and the Hallowell Fire Department, on Monday afternoon, a car crashed through a garage on Town Farm Road, leaving the driver hanging fifteen feet in the air.

The accident happened as Lorraine Stubbs was on her way back home from a quick trip to the store.  As she approached her garage, she put her foot on her car's brake, but her foot slipped off, hitting the gas.

Her car went through the garage door, into the garage, and out the back wall.  As the garage is on the second story, it left her hanging above the ground.

Fortunately, since she had On-Star in her car, the fire department was notified and she was quickly rescued.
