Authorities say Casey Kasem has been located in Washington state. This comes three days after a Los Angeles judge expressed concerns about the ailing radio host's whereabouts and safety.

Santa Monica police Department say Kasem was located by the Kitsap County Sheriff's Office a few hours after his children filed a missing person's report on Wednesday. According to the Associated Press a representative for three of Kasem's children said the report was filed after a court issued letters appointing his daughter Kerri as his temporary conservator.

On Monday, Superior Court Judge Daniel Murphy ordered adult protective services and a court investigator to locate Kasem after an attorney for his wife said he did not know the former "Top 40" host's whereabouts.
