Cats Get Their Own Social Network, Grumpy Cat Probably Unhappy About it
Grumpy Cat will soon have a new place to post about how unhappy she is. Matthew Phiong and Koekoe Loo Wan Koe, two enterprising men from Malaysia, have launched a new social media networking site for felines and the humans who love them, called Catmoji.
Their idea is to have a Facebook-esque site for felines, but in reality the social networking site is more picture and video-based (think Kitty Pinterest). There have been other similar sites before -- Catster and United Cats come to mind -- but the beauty of Catmoji is that you can filter and tag your furry feline friend's pictures according to mood. At the very least, the website will be a great place to "ooo" and "ahhh" over cute kitten pictures and bond with fellow Crazy Cat Ladies and Crazy Cat Gentlemen.
However, due to the fact that Catmoji launched on Christmas Eve 2012, it doesn't have many users yet. But given the popularity of LOL Cats and Tard the Grumpy Cat, we're certain that cat owners will be using this site in the hopes of their pet becoming the Next Big Internet Meme. Grumpy Cat better watch her back!
