April 2, 2013 Spring may be finally here? I say may be because I saw flurries out the window earlier today. Have you fired up the grill for the first time yet? We did yesterday. Lynn made steak, sprinkled with a bit of seasoning and today, it was pork chops on the grill before work. So at our house so far, spring is forging ahead.
April 2, 2013 'A Capital Read' is back at Lithgow Public Library in Augusta. This time around the book is Amy Waldman’s acclaimed debut novel "The Submission", which explores the controversy and complex emotions surrounding a memorial for the victims of 9/11. Interesting!

March 30, 2013 We all have them, maybe more than we know we have, but do they influence your buying and where you shop? I'm referring to rewards cards. They're either in your wallet, purse, maybe on your key ring. I do use my Shaw's card a lot. I would have to say, my Shaw's card is far and above my favorite. You can't beat getting at times three for the price of one.
March 29, 2013 Today was all about cars. I was looking at the license plate on my wife’s car and saw that it had expired last month, February. I was surprised that I let it lapse. Okay, I knew but that was my prepared statement for cops if I got pulled over. All it took was a trip to Auburn city hall and paid $173 and I was good to go with a neon orange sticker for ’03 Saab. I have been asked this probably 10 times at different places. "Do you have an SR 22?"
If you plan to see a doctor anytime soon, here’s some advice: bring a good book.
March 28, 2013 Well, just watched the Travel Channels “Truck Stop Paradise” and yes they did visit Dysart’s just of I-95 in Bangor, Maine. Overall, not bad, they did not go out of their way to make Mainers look like hicks. (So many travel shows do that for some reason) And the food looked great..BUT, I do have a bone to pick with the Travel Channel.

March 27, 2013 Let me start by saying, I’m writing this to find out if anyone else has ever gone through the same type of episode. It’s a bit like you’re in a haze and completely sober. Tonight it has been a bit of a difficult night to focus. I couldn’t even remember my Facebook password which I use rather often as you probably know. It’s like a spell where I’m scattered in the head with thoughts. My thoughts are familiar to something I may have experienced before or a dream. I guess it would be classified as having a déjà vous?

Peeps. You either love them or hate them. But they are kind of a vestal “medium” for lots of projects, edible and otherwise. There are many colors and styles of Peeps, but can craft and cook with them, too. Boggles my mind.
