[UPDATE] Two Missing Snowmobilers in Maine Found Safe

UPDATE: According to WCSH Reporter Danielle Waugh's Twitter Account:

The Warden Service says Greenville snowmobilers Lloyd and Wendy Blanchard, reported as missing, have been located and are safe...

The Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife is seeking the public's help in finding two missing snowmobilers, Lloyd M. Blanchard (46) and Wendy Blanchard (54) both from State Street, Brewer.

Police Investigating Death of Bucksport Teacher

The Maine State Police are investigating the death of a Bucksport teacher.

According to Maine Department of Public Safety Spokesman Steve McCausland, the body of 46 year old Traci Merriam was recovered Sunday morning about 7 a.m. from the Penobscot River in Prospect by troopers and the Maine Marine Patrol.

‘Green Acres’ TV Star, Who Once Lived in Maine, Has Passed Away

I loved the show 'Green Acres.' It was part of the rural comedies of the 60's including 'The Beverly Hillbillies' and Petticoat Junction.' What was great, was that the show never took it self seriously. Actually, it was the opposite. it was just so ridiculous that couldn't help but laugh...and the great on-liners, too. The show had very memorable characters, like Mr. Haney, Sam Drucker, Arnold the Pig and the carpenter twins, Ralph & Alf. Well, Ralph is no longer with us.
