The good news is that it is going to warm up tomorrow (Dec. 17), the bad news is that the (relatively) warmer weather is going to bring some significant snow with it, as a winter weather advisory has been issued for Central Maine tomorrow.
It's official, winter has arrived in Central Maine. Today (Nov. 29), the area is under a winter weather advisory from the National Weather Service, and anyone out on the roads should be taking extra caution all day.
This cold and breezy weather could lead to Augusta and Waterville seeing its first snowfall of the season. WCSH 6 is predicting a cold rain to develop Thursday night into Friday and it could be cold enough for some wet snow.
