‘CBS This Morning’ Celebrates Acadia National Park [VIDEO]

As part of its celebration of the 100th birthday of the National Park Service, "CBS This Morning" has started a new feature called "On the Trail," where reporter Conor Knighton will travel to National Parks across the country. To kick it off, he started in our own backyard, at Acadia National Park.

In the video below, Knighton takes a look at Acadia, one of the smallest national parks in the system at just under 50,000 acres. But size truly doesn't matter, as Acadia is one of the most popular parks in the system. This video shows just why Acadia is so popular.

• August 25 through 28: National Park Service Birthday
• September 24: National Public Lands Day
