Celebrities' lives always seem to be jam-packed with things to do. Between recording songs, shooting scenes for television or film, memorizing scripts, going on tour and other celeb duties, it's hard to believe that some of these stars would have the time to pick up a book amidst their already exciting lives. But sometimes the written word can be just as exciting as life itself! These celebs clearly get the importance of reading a good book.

Emma Roberts - 'The Wisdom of Insecurity' by Alan W. Watts

Emma Roberts, one of the biggest bookworms in Hollywood, is constantly sharing Instagram pics of her latest reads. The ‘American Horror Story’ starlet recently shared her next indulgence, 'The Wisdom of Insecurity' by Alan W. Watts. The philosophical and spiritual read follows Roberts' previous book, David H. Wilson's apocalyptic thriller 'Robogenesis,' showing her flexibility and interest in any and all genres.

Camila Cabello - 'The Fault in Our Stars' by John Green

Fifth Harmony’s Camila Cabello recently shared one of the most popular 'The Fault in Our Stars' quotes via Instagram. If you don't know, the John Green novel-turned-blockbuster of the summer is a crushing love story about Hazel and Gus, two teenagers who meet at a cancer support group and fall in love. Cabello commented with the same amount of sentiment that most ‘TFIOS’ fans share when crying over the YA hit, “NO NO NO NO NO STOP THAT RIGHT THERE PLEASE TAKE A FEW STEPS BACK NO NO NO.”

Chloe Grace Moretz - ‘Gone Girl’ by Gillian Flynn

Chloe Grace Moretz picked up Gillian Flynn’s ‘Gone Girl’ a few days ago, posting a photo on Instagram of the suspenseful NYT Bestseller nestled against a chic Chanel backpack and her passport. ‘Gone Girl’ has been building in popularity since its 2012 release, being praised numerously for its plot twists and deceitful narrators that make for huge surprises along the way. The ‘If I Stay’ actress was headed to Toronto’s Much Music Video Awards, using the novel as her in-flight entertainment. Her upcoming summer flick is based on Gayle Forman’s YA novel and could easily induce as many tears as 'TFIOS' has so far.

Lena Dunham - 'How to Talk With Practically Anybody About Practically Everything' by Barbara Walters

The queen of New York City hipsters and feminism, Lena Dunham, shared a picture of Barbara Walters’ book, ‘How to Talk With Practically Anybody About Practically Everything.’ This guidebook from the late '70s may be a bit out of fashion, but even at that time in her life, Walters had spoken to everyone who was anyone with flair and a strong sense of caring that carried her into her retirement earlier this year. Dunham commented on the picture saying it was a present from Teddy Blanks, a singer-songwriter who composed the score for Dunham’s 2010 film, ‘Tiny Furniture.’

AnnaSophia Robb - 'The Quotable Oscar Wilde'

AnnaSophia Robb, who most recently portrayed the younger '80s-influenced version of ‘Sex and the City’s’ Carrie Bradshaw in ‘The Carrie Diaries,’ showed her love of a much older classic writer on Instagram a few weeks ago. The actress posted a picture of the miniature book ‘The Quotable Oscar Wilde,’ saying, “My newest and tiniest book, a collection by my favorite author #oscarwilde.”

Victoria Justice - 'Bossypants' by Tina Fey

Victoria Justice is taking advice from other strong women in the television industry. The ‘Victorious’ star posted a pic of herself reading Tina Fey’s autobiographical comedy and NYT Bestseller, ‘Bossypants,’ with an adorable photobomb from her dog, Sammy. Justice commented alongside the post saying, “I’m loving this book. Tina Fey’s a boss.” ‘Bossypants’ explores Fey’s life right from her childhood, up into her days on ‘Saturday Night Live’ and how she came to create her comedy hit ’30 Rock.’

Lorde - 'Brave New World' by Aldous Huxley

Lorde’s hit ‘Royals’ may have looked to revamp the values and morals behind modern rap music, but she’s got nothing on Aldous Huxley. The singer posted a picture of the spine of Huxley’s ‘Brave New World,’ saying it wa, “a gift from some sweet berlin girls – AND it was stolen from their school library!” These Berlin fans, however, hit the nail on the head with their choice. This dystopian fiction explores possibilities for the world's distant future in an incredible way for a novel written in the 1930s. In Lorde's chart-topper, she tries to be an active thinker in the world in a similar way to Huxley's main character Bernard.

Hilary Duff - 'The Fault in Our Stars' by John Green

Hilary Duff may have her son Luca now and a new record to worry about, but she sure doesn’t think the Young Adult section is ‘So Yesterday’! Duff posted a picture of John Green’s hugely popular ‘The Fault in Our Stars' -- the movie cover version featuring stars Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort -- giving it the highest of praises. She commented on the picture, saying, “I just read this whole book from la to nyc. I would hop back on the place and sit through that flight all over just to have the time to read it again!!!!!(and I really don’t like flying)!”

Keegan Allen - 'The Fault in Our Stars' by John Green

Pretty Little Liars’ star Keegan Allen also shared some praise for ‘The Fault in Our Stars.’ The actor posted a fan edit of his character Toby with the book in his hands and tears in his eyes. Keegan enjoyed the edit, tagging the book’s author, John Green, and some of the film’s stars in his post. “Yes, this fan edit is dead on @johngreenwritesbooks everyone needs to read the book then go see the movie #TFIOS @anselelgort @natandalex and Woodley.”

Rowan Blanchard - 'Paper Towns' by John Green

Rowan Blanchard, aka the girl carrying on the greatness of ‘Boy Meets World’ through the portrayal of her character Riley Matthews in the upcoming ‘Girl Meets World’ (which debuts THIS WEEK), is a John Green fan as well. Blanchard posted a photo mid-flight of another one of Green's novels, ‘Paper Towns.’ Presumably, her friend sitting in the seat next to her is reading yet another Green novel, ‘Looking for Alaska,’ as Rowen commented on the photo with, “Looking for Alaska in Paper Towns.”

Emily Kinney - 'I Was Told There'd Be Cake' by Sloane Crosley + 'Beautiful Ruins' by Jess Walters

Emily Kinney of 'The Walking Dead' fame shared her summer reading a few days ago on Instagram. The actress and singer/songwriter plans to read Sloane Crosley's book of comedic essays, 'I Was Told There'd Be Cake,' and 'Beautiful Ruins,' a novel by Jess Walters, which features everything from Italian coastlines and romance, to Hollywood sets in the 1960s. Good choices, Emily, good choices.

Evanna Lynch - 'The Silkworm' by Robert Galbraith (aka J.K. Rowling)

Evanna Lynch, who brought J.K. Rowling's Luna Lovegood to life in our hearts through the 'Harry Potter,' films, is now reading another Rowling book -- or should we say Robert Galbraith? 'The Silkworm' is the second book in Rowling's Cormoran Strike series, and the second book under her male pen name. Alongside the post, Lynch admits she is "loving" the book, and it seems her adorable kitty Lil Puff is loving it as well!
