Celebrate National Sandwich Day

Today we celebrate the world's most portable food...  The Sandwich!  Named after John Montagu, the 4th Earl of Sandwich, the man who asked to be fed a meal of meat and cheese between two pieces of bread because he did not want to leave the gambling table.

And, snce it would not be a celebration without us getting something for free, lots of sandwich serving restaurants are doing giveaways...

At participating Subways, get a free sub when you buy any sub and drink. For each deal purchased, Subway will donate a meal to Feeding America.
