Have you seen the picture of Rob Gronkowski chugging a beer party-style at the Patriots' victory  parade. Is this appropriate? Probably not, but he’s of age and if he wants to act like a college kid at frat party, so-be-it.

What gets me is  the comments on the “Gronk-beer picture” about how he is a bad role model. I have always said stars are idols, not role models. Idols are for us older folks are for example, Axl Rose, or in today’s world, idols are Justin Bieber, Miley or whomever you think is cool and whacky in the spotlight.

Role models are parents, uncles, aunts, teachers, community leaders, etc.

People really need to stop excepting our stars and celebrities to be out of control and role models at the same time.

Rant over, and this is just my take.
