NFL- Patriots lost their first game of the season last night to the Broncos, 30-24 in overtime. Worse, with less than three minutes left in the game, Rob Gronkowski sustained an injured right knee when his leg was hit by Denver’s Darian Stewart who was diving for a tackle.
Tonight, Baltimore is in Cleveland
AHL- Portland Pirates skated past Springfield 6-2 yesterday. Pirates are in Providence of Friday.
NHL- Bruins are in Edmonton Wednesday
NBA- Celtics lost to Orlando, 110-91 yesterday. Tonight, they’re in Miami.
While the Warriors have set a new consecutive wins mark to start the season…they’re now 18-0…The 76ers have tied a winless mark…they’re 0-18 so far this year.
Kobe Bryant has announced that he’ll retire at the end of this season after 20 years in a Lakers uniform.
