Former Red Sox catcher Jason Varitek, who's 43, has interviewed with the Seattle Mariners for their manager's job. Varitek is now a special assistant to the general manager with the Sox. If he doesn't land the job, his position in Boston is secure.

On Sunday, Augusta lost a coaching legend. Long time track and field coach, Taylor Harmon, passed away at the age of 70 at the VA Togus. A Facebook page in the coaches memory has been set up.
