NLCS- Mets beat the Cubs 8-3 last night, moving on to the world series with a 4 game sweep. The series MVP was New York’s Daniel Murphy who homered in six consecutive post season games.

ALCS- The Blue Jays beat the Royals yesterday afternoon to move to within a game of Kansas City who leads the series 3 games to 2. Tomorrow night Toronto is in Kansas City for game 6.

NHL- Bruins lost to Philadelphia last night at the Garden, 5-4 in overtime.

NFL- Seattle is in San Fransisco tonight…both teams are 2 and 4

High school field hockey winners- Cony, Winslow, Spruce Mountain, MCI, Oak Hill, Leavitt, Mt. View, Skowhegan

Boys Soccer- Hall Dale won their third straight MVC title with a 2-1 victory over Mountain Valley last night.

Women’s soccer- Colby fell to Bowdoin, 3-0
