Check Out This Old School Video Of Cooper’s Hometown

If you know me, you probably know that I am a huge history geek!  So, it shouldn't be much of a surprise that I was super psyched when I found this old video tour of my hometown: Houlton!

The video follows John Millar, an influential Houlton businessman, as he gives the history of the buildings in downtown Houlton.

For me, one of the coolest things was his stories about my old Catholic elementary / middle school.

I'm not entirely sure when it was shot, but based on the vehicles and the fact that it was after the downtown beautification, I'd guess early to mid-90s.  And, I'm guessing that it was sometime around the 4th of July (the streets are blocked off and the stores have displays outside).
