Christina Aguilera is from an army family, so she knew just the right note to hit to please the all-military audience on last night's (Nov. 28) 'Tonight Show With Jay Leno.'

Xtina broke out a sexy military-inspired uniform to perform the retro-swing 'Candyman,' off her 2007 album, 'Back to Basics.' A big band backed her as dancers dressed as sailors helped her sell the tune to the appreciative crowd. (Watch the performance here.)

Aguilera was especially thrilled to help Leno pull off the special military tribute, she told him during her interview. "My father was a sergeant in the army when I was younger," she said, turning to the cheering crowd. "I have a lot of respect for you guys, and what you do. And all you women."
